Why Is it?

5.01.2014
Why is it that I can make a grocery list and still forget something at the store?

Why is it that packing induces panic attacks, excessive list making and wine drinking?

Why is it that more often than not when I've had days to prepare for something, I procrastinate and run around like a chicken with it's head cut off?

Why is it that some men don't find it rude to oogle women? I could punch your face in.

Why is it that weekends are two days long and weeks are five? Who came up with that? I could punch your face in too.

Why is it that I've only used my Whitney English planner for 3 days and I'm already obsessed?

Why is it that whenever I don't do my hair or make-up, hubs feels like grabbing a drink after work?

Why is it that when I decide to start sticking to a budget I find fifty freaking things that I want?

Why is it that when I meal plan and prepare healthy foods, I crave french fries?

Why is it that when I get started on Pinterest I can't stop? #help

Why is it that I tell myself I'm going to get in shape before vacation and then 9 days until we leave I'm starving myself? (And by starving I mean getting a Chick-fil-A milkshake on the way home tonight.)

Why is it that pink, gold and glitter make my heart jump for joy like a small child?

  7. A lot of those are due to Murphy's Law, that dang Murphy. I am with you on the hubs always wanting to go out on the days I haven't even showered. Never fails.

  8. Girl, you are not alone. I can relate to them all! I get so mad when I forget something at the grocery store. I make lists, down to in the order the store goes (ocd much?) and I still forget things!

  11. I totally feel for ya with the packing. I HATE packing. I wish it was socially acceptable to actually punch people in the face and girl, that planner! Love it! Happy Friday, pretty girl!

  12. Why is it that every time I make a grocery list, I leave it at work or at home? Fail! And amen to the pink, gold, and glitter. There are few things more fabulous. Happy weekend, friend!

  13. Haha so much punching of faces. But all for good reason. I carry my grocery list around in the store and then end up with twice as much crap as I went in for and half of what I didn't. Hear ya! Cheers to the weekend :)

  14. YES to the Day Designer - three days in and I worry if I love it more than I should.

YES to going out when my hair looks a mess. I don't know WHY Eric insists on this.

YES to the weekend/weekday ratio. It's completely skewed. I wish we had three day weekends. It would really make much more sense. How about Wednesdays off? That breaks the work-week into 2 two-day segments. That's so much easier!

We are kindred Type A spirits and I really like that. Have a great (two day, blah) weekend!

  16. Pretty sure your right on the weekdays v weekends thing - I suggest we move to an 8 day week and have 4 and 4! Plus I can totally relate to the not having your hair and make up done and then having to go somewhere - the boyfriend got home to me already in PJs this week and then let me know we were having drinks for a friends birthday that night- eeek!

  17. Isn't it always how it works that as soon as you decide not to spend money you need everything? Today I used needing shampoo as an excuse to buy the Frozen DVD. And then spent more money than I'd like to admit on White Plum leggings from Jane.com. Getting a good deal counts for something right?

  22. I am debating on asking for Whitney English planner for August-July or preordering for 2015 year. I have heard so many good things about it. I may be emailing you with questions about her planner. I love everything that she does.... in a non creepy way though. She really thinks how everyone will benefit from this planner. Also I completely understand how you feel about the being on a budget then wanting EVERYTHING.

  23. I LOVE my day designer!! Whitney English is brilliant for designing such a fabulous product!!

  24. Ahh I agree with you on all of the things! Minus the planner since I don't have one, but I'm the biggest procrastinator known to man!!
