Deck Party It Is

8.06.2014
If you remember last week I was all too excited with the purchase of my new patio furniture. I've realized it's really sad what you get excited about as an adult. A new washer and dryer, wood flooring, a flower garden, they all send me through the roof all too quickly! What happened to Barbie, beanie babies and chalk?

Well I couldn't wait any longer (than a day) to buy items to spruce up my outdoor space a bit. With only a few weeks left of Summer I want to enjoy every minute I can in this new spot. My wonderful in-laws spent last Friday helping us pressure wash our deck so the whole patio would look like new. God bless them both!

Now it's only fitting that we have a deck party to celebrate with all of our friends, good food and icy cold beverages... water for me of course. So, naturally, that's already in the works!

Patio Set - Kroger - $349.99
Rug - Lowes - $22.00
Flower Pot - Lowes - $9.99
Flowers - Lowes - $4.99

I made out like a bandit and I have a B-E-A-utiful new space to enjoy my breakfast in the morning with hubs. It's lovely :)

  14. Ah, I am living vicariously through you! We have snow from November (or earlier) until April most years so I don't think I'll ever have the patio of my dreams because if wouldn't be practical, but I love seeing how other people decorate their outdoor spaces!

  20. Ah I love your patio! Can I join? But seriously, it's amazing. And I totally get excited over the weirdest things too. My bar stools came in last week and it was like I was a kid on Christmas morning.
