I tend to do these types of blog posts when I've lost all creativity. And today, that's the case. As it was yesterday too, I just decided painting the nursery was wayyyyy more fun than trying to pump out a blog post so forgive me please :)

So let's talk about life currently for moi...

Loving //
Y'all may get sick of hearing it, but I love being pregnant. Not a moment goes by that I don't feel like I could cry with happiness over having a child. His kicks and constant movement are precious to me. I'm so grateful to have a healthy baby boy growing away.

Appreciating //
Our business is slowing down which means I can sometimes have one day off a week. This means everything to me. A chance for recuperation, alone time, free time, coffee dates, playing catch up, or simply resting. Or taking a bubble bath at 1pm. No judgement please.

Creating //
All kinds of goodness in Maddox's nursery. The painting is finished and now I'm on to buying and/or salvaging furniture. Then comes the best part, decorating! I'm also creating a delicious pork roast in the crock-pot that has made my house smell like Heaven. It screams "BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE"!

Reading //
I've just started "The Next Always" by Nora Roberts so I don't have an opinion yet, but I'm just happy to have time to read again! Have I mentioned I love the Holiday season for it's amazing mix of hustle and bustle, but also calm and rest?

Wishlisting //
Knowing the holidays are just around the corner I always get to thinking about those things I want, but won't buy for myself. I really want a Michael Kors watch. It's something I swoon over and would wear everyday, but yet I won't make the splurge. Maybe hubby is reading this...

Linking up with Jenna and Anne.

  1. Glad you love being pregnant and aren't having any major downfalls! I always worry about being sick all the time or something when I finally do get pregnant! And glad you're able to get some time off to relax and recharge!

  11. It's so nice when you can take a day (or two) off of work to recuperate. Our campus has today and tomorrow off and, since I'm still fighting my sinus infection, I decided to take the day off :)
