Our Gender Reveal

11.03.2014
I knew exactly what I wanted when I started planning our gender reveal. I'm a Southern girl and Jon is a good ole' Southern boy, our son will grow up in the same atmosphere we did so I wanted that reflected in our party. It couldn't have fallen on a more perfect October day where the sun was warm and the air was cool. I went with a milk and cookies theme to keep it simple. I used hay-bales, mums, pumpkins, burlap, antique milk bottles and mason jars as decorations. I had basically everything already with the exception of the antique milk bottles (thrifted), the gender straws (found here) and the banner from 34 Magnolia Street.

Everything came together perfectly and I'm so grateful to my sweet friend Renee, photographer from TwoSparks, for capturing each moment! We're still so overjoyed upon finding out we're having a baby boy.

Warning: Picture overload. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Finally seeing the anatomy scan picture, looking for my son's... ahem... anatomy.
