For those of you who don't know I spend a majority of my time (as in 40+ hours a week) selling outdoor power equipment parts to men. I know more about in the inner workings of a chainsaw or a lawn mower engine than I ever care to admit. Although I love telling men how to repair their chainsaws over the phone - seriously I get a kick out of them saying, "YOU know how to help me repair my chainsaw? But, you're a girl!!". But this isn't my passion people, it's what pays the bills. I'm proud that my husband and I have established a business that supports our little family, but I'm a girl at heart and I've got to express myself somehow.

That's where my "fashion" posts come in. I say "fashion" because I wouldn't really consider myself fashionable. Perhaps stylish or trendy? That's just me trying to find a word to say that I like clothes and I like to pretend I know what I'm doing with them! Creating an outfit, taking pictures and sharing them here give me pure joy and remind me that I'm a girl who's allowed to be girly :) So forgive me if you get tired of seeing outfit posts here, but I'd be lying if I said those weren't my favorite posts to put together and share with y'all. Besides it's an excuse to wear something other than yoga pants 7 days a week!

PS. What kind of business owner would I be if I didn't do a little self promotion here? If you, your spouse, your daddy or anybody else in your life needs parts for chainsaws, lawn mowers, snowblowers, engines, weedeaters, you name it - well you know where to come! DiscountOnlineParts.com. I guarantee great service :) Okay I'm done tooting my own horn now! XO!

  1. I love your necklace! My wardrobe is tiny these days, so I don't get to express myself through fashion quite as much as before, but I definitely share your love of being creative with what you wear!

  2. Ok first, you look AMAZING! Seriously you are killing it with your pregnancy style! And I know what you mean about telling boys how to do something that they don't think a woman should be able to do. I love being able to talk football with the guys and surprise them! And I agree with you, I don't think I'm fashionable at all but I love putting together an outfit and posting it on my blog even if everyone else would never wear it. It's just such a fun, creative, girlie outlet! I think your outfits are great!

  3. Girl, don't ever stop your style posts - I love them! We have similar style, so I pull a lot of inspiration from you and your looks. :) Also, I think it's awesome that you can help a bunch of guys repair their outdoor power tools - it goes to show that we can do anything and everything as men do!

  8. You're a doll. At one point I was selling this technology to auto mechanics. They looooooved talking to a girl (not). One time, someone called me babe and I was all: Do not call me Babe. Would you call a man babe? ANd someone they all ended up buying from me. Haha.

  16. You are amazing! Love your gorgeous girly looks. I hope to be as stylish as you when I'm pregnant! I get so self conscious about doing outfit posts... mainly because DG is the WORST at taking pictures. Today, I asked a perfect stranger to take my photos instead of him. xo
