The Creative Closet || This Was A Gift

12.30.2014
I wore this outfit to our Christmas Eve service at church, which was absolutely gorgeous. At the very end the entire congregation held a lit candle and sang Silent Night with no instruments, just voices. The lights in the church were turned down so that you only saw the flicker of 1,200 candles. It was absolutely stunning and moving.

I took advantage of the service to wear my favorite Christmas present from Jon. My husband and I actually opened up our gifts to each other a few days early because we were going to be traveling and spending our time with our families on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. He nailed it this year! I was SO excited to finally have a gold, MK watch! I wear watches every day and I've been eyeing a Michael Kors watch for over a year now so this gift made me squeal!

Go see what Jana and Nadia are showing off as their favorite Christmas gift! They are lovely :)

I had to sneak this one in of my handsome hubby!

  1. You are just so adorable! I love those heels! I also love Michael Kors; although I'm more of a sucker for his purses than his watches but I do love the way his watches look! That peplum dress is stunning on you!

  5. Oh how fuN! I love this! This dress is super cute with your bump. Glad you had a Merry Christmas. I love candlelight services. We didn't go to one this year. Which is kind of a bummer. I love the traditional ones, but KC's family loves the contemporary ones. Maybe next year. ;) XO -Alexandra

  9. That service sounds so beautiful. I spent my Christmas Eve going from the hospital to the airport for a crazy tiring 12+hour day of travel so I missed our service this year :( still I count my blessings that I still made it home for Christmas! I can't believe the dress & heels are from Target, what fantastic steals! I have a gold watch on my wish list for post-Christmas shopping - that MK one is definitely a beauty.
