I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Words can't even express what it feels like to get back to a sense of normality, y'all! I'm attempting to get my ducks in a row to start blogging full time again since I took a much needed 6 week break to get my baby lovin' on. It
But let's talk less baby and more boho. This is a look I've just recently become accustomed to wearing, I shared a favorite boho look of mine last week. As a new mom I'm still trying to figure out a schedule and getting ready is a challenge most days so I started going for this shabby/chic way of dressing to trick people into thinking I look put together when in reality I did minimal work possible to get ready. I guess that's a long way of saying what I think when I hear the term, "boho".
So I chose this romper, which I very quickly realized was not nursing friendly (lesson learned), and paired it with a long, flowy cardigan, my new favorite heels and a side satchel. When I think boho, I always think side satchel. Anyone else? Also please ignore my albino skin. #yikes

Not only am I crushing on Jana's shoes, but I'm crushing even more on her belly button peeking through! Adorable! And Ann has me swooning over her home decor. Her photo looks like something out of a magazine. Go see their adorable boho details.

Im totally crushing on YOUR heels! :) I've been on the hunt for those at my Target but haven't been able to find them! They've been out of stock in my size forever. Love this look on you girl, gorgeous!

Your romper may not be nursing friendly but it is so cute! And I also love the shoes!
ReplyDeleteI'm always a big romper fan, and you are totally rocking this one! Love how you paired it with that flowy sweater!
ReplyDeleteCUTE romper!! you look great mama! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteYou look great. And I don't think rompers are anything friendly except looking adorable LOL
ReplyDeleteLoving your romper, makes me want one! I bought one the end of last season, I'm excited to bring it out this summer :) You look great!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, friend! Loving that romper and long cardi on you.
ReplyDeleteYou have been looking so fine Mommy Meagan. Loe the black romper - I need a black one myself and your kimono and sandals are so pretty and perfectly complete this boho look. Will be linking up in a little bit. Hope you like my Boho Look today.

you look great!
ReplyDeletei adore those heels!!!!! welcome back!!
ReplyDeleteLove the romper on you! Such a cute look! Hehe, it's so tricky in those first few weeks figuring out what will be nursing friendly and what won't be! I was just realizing last night that the majority of my summer wardrobe isn't as nursing friendly as my winter wardrobe–looks like I need to go shopping. Oh darn...;)
ReplyDeleteDespite not being nursing friendly - that romper is ADORABLE! I still haven't found one that fits my oddly long torso yet... no one wants a romper wedgie lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous look! That long cardi goes perfectly with the short romper. Bummer that it wasn't nursing friendly. So happy to have you back, but I'm glad you got a much needed break in to spend time with your sweet new family.
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear you're stepping into a sense of routine with your little man, and btw - I am totally going all-out boho the day we become parents over here; in fact, I may never wear jeans agaaaaaain. Way to rock a totally elegant boho vibe Maegen!
ReplyDeleteYou are glowing pretty lady!! Totally laughing at the breast-feeding/romper comment. Going to the bathroom is hard - I can't imagine nursing!! One of those situations you just have to laugh at yourself during!! Soooo glad to have you back to blog-land!
ReplyDeleteI wish rompers had just a slightly longer short to them!! I tried on one from Target and even bought it but then took it back because the shorts are just too short. That one WAS nursing friendly if you wanted to check it out. :D
ReplyDeleteI also think side satchel as well.
Loving your outfit! I used to absolutely despise rompers until I tried one on. They're amazing! And so comfortable! Loved the satchel too!
ReplyDeleteLove the cardigan! I don't see them in that length very often and even if I did, I would probably be afraid to wear it for fear of it making me look shorter than I already am. I think the way that you have styled it with the short romper and the heels solves that problem :)
