This dress from Oakleigh Rose Boutique is my new everything! I don't get dressed up that often anymore so wearing a dress and a heel makes this girly girl feel so good inside and out! I wore this outfit on a date night last week. Jon's parents have been so gracious about giving us a couple hours of free babysitting one night a week. It's been SO good for the both of us. Not only am I happy to have some one on one time with my main squeeze, but it's so good for Maddox to get some quality time with his grandparents. They are going to play such a special role in his life and I am grateful he will grow up close to them!

Are your children able to grow up close to family? If not, do you take time to Facetime with distant relatives?

  2. That dress is so pretty! And so jealous of your shoes! I wanted those SO bad but they aren't in stock any where in my area and I feel like they'd be too big on me around the ankle. Boo! Gorgeous look girl!

  3. I got this dress as well! I added a thin belt for some definition. Also, brown tights and brown boots make it work for the winter as well!

I skype/video gchat my nephew and sister every weekend to keep up with all of Oscar's changes (they're a flight away, sadly). He's 8 months now, so a week makes such a difference and when I miss a week -- WOW -- in 2 weeks, he's learned so much more!

    Enjoy that precious baby!

  11. You look gorgeous! We love living near Dustin's family–it's so nice to have people who love to spend time with Joshua while we go on dates, and we love seeing them often as well. Joshua doesn't get to see my parents as often, but we FaceTime with my mom frequently. Joshua is really looking forward to having my mom stay with us when this baby finally gets here. :)

  12. You look FABULOUS, as always. :) That's so great that Maddox's grandparents are close by and are willing to take him for a bit so you get a date night with your hubby - that's so important for all of you!

  13. That dress is gorgeous - style, pattern, sleeves, colors. Love the bracelets, purse and especially the shoes. I am looking for women caged sandals like those and it seems like you found the perfect cognac pair.

  14. I'm usually not one for bell sleeves but I loooove everything about this dress- it looks like it was made for you! Love your sunglasses too, and I've been wanting to try out that braid since I saw one of your instagram or twitter posts!

  15. This dress is so perfect on you! Perfect for a date night dress! I loved that thing so much when they came in, but unfortunately, it was wayyy too short on me. So I'll live through you. haha
