The Creative Closet || East Coast Prep

5.12.2015

When I think East Coast Prep my mind immediately thinks beach, monograms, pearls and polo's. My favorite place on earth is Charleston, SC so automatically I went with a beach inspired look because that's where you'll find my booty planted when I'm on the far East Coast. We spent Mother's Day at the lake so I thought it perfectly fitting to take my look there for some shots on the water. I paired these amazing linen pants (totally obsessed and unfortunately sold out) with my favorite comfy tank, added my bathing suit underneath, pearls and a fedora with a girly bow and I'm set! East Coast Prep for a day on the water :)

Jana and I are twinning again with our hats! I love the stylish yet casual look she created for this prompt. Nadia always looks so chic in everything she wears! I adore this girly little number!

This is the first week we are sharing our favorite outfit from the previous week. My pick went out to Ashley from Raspberry Glow. Homegirl just had a baby so cutos to even putting on make-up and putting something besides yoga pants on. I love that she shared a mommy friendly look wearing something casual, but upgrading it with a chambray top. Head over to Jana's blog to see her pick of the week!

Here are the rest of May's prompts. We hope you'll join in with us!

  6. Ooh I love this! Especially your pearl cluster necklace. A nice spin on traditional pearls, but still very east coast prep. XO -Alexandra
