Every time I sit down to complete or publish a blog post I get distracted. I am nesting like a wild animal over here. No joke, I bleached the inside of my refrigerator and freezer yesterday after emptying all of it's contents, purging and reorganizing. Then I made a trip to the grocery store with a list of things I actually knew I needed. Isn't that nice for a change? I've been rearranging and clearing out cabinets, closets, drawers, etc. Any spare time I have you can find me reading books with Maddox, icing my back because I'm in so much pain from running around like a wild woman or passed out snoring because I'm working myself to exhaustion each day.
Life feels a bit chaotic right now trying to prepare for baby girl's arrival in September. I had my glucose test yesterday (I passed!) and the doctor told me our appointments are every two weeks now and crap got real y'all! This pregnancy has absolutely FLOWN to say the least and it's starting to sink in that I am going to have two under two in two short months. That's a lot of two's!
I'm really trying to focus on getting the nursery finished and the house in order before her arrival. Plus my main focus is soaking up the last of my one on one time with Maddox - que the hormonal tears. This really gets me worked up. I am so excited to experience the joy of falling in love with a baby all over again, but my heart breaks a little at the thought of it not just being me and my bug anymore. He's my little bestie - even when he's throwing a temper tantrum (yeah those have started) - he's my heart and soul.
PS. Speaking of all this baby talk, I might actually have my first pregnancy update on the blog later this week. You know... it seems appropriate now that I'm 29 weeks and all. *que the eye roll. I knew I didn't want to do a weekly pregnancy update with this baby like I did with Maddox, but I didn't expect to not even talk about it here on my blog. This poor baby girl, second child syndrome has already kicked in strong.
PPS. Her nursery is SO close to being finished I will have a full reveal on it within the next month! Eeek! I can't wait for y'all to see. I told Jon I want to move into her room I'm so in love with it.
