We are constantly on the go right now whether it's heading to the park for a little break out of the house, the splash pad, a festival, the lake,
So I'm sharing my Summer Diaper Bag Essentials in my favorite new diaper bag from Fawn Design! Y'all I die over this bag and they have a stone cold gray color AND a blush bag coming out soon! It can be carried three different ways - on your back, over your shoulder and as a crossbody. The crossbody way is most convenient when I'm carrying Maddox on the opposite arm because everything is in reach without the bag falling off my arm. But if I'm going distance or into the store I throw it on my back and it's out of sight, out of mind. I love that it's one ginormous pocket inside too - you wouldn't believe what I can stuff in there... seriously it's way more than I'm including in this list. And then I use the outside pocket for my cell phone and a spare paci to get to quickly.
Now for my Summer must-haves!
sunscreen // Everyone comments on Maddox's dark, olive skin and I always swear that I lather him in sunscreen. He just doesn't burn. He literally has skin I would die for with that natural tan, but it doesn't keep me from putting sunscreen on him anytime he's in the sun for an extended period of time. I personally love this brand.
quick snacks // My little piggie gets so hungry and thirsty running around like a mad man in this heat so I make sure to keep water and his favorite juice pouches - I personally love the Honest Apple Juice pouches. We always have veggie sticks and granola bars on hand that Maddox so sweetly shares with his mama.
bandaids // I swear my child is as clumsy as I am. He's constantly falling down and occasionally it's a doosy so it's nice to have a little "first aid" kit on hand.
sanitizer // Maddox loves to hand me 200 rocks, bugs and the occasional cigarette butt (ew!) so I'm constantly squirting us down with hand sanitizer. I love the Babyganics brand because it's foam and doesn't have a strong smell.
UV protected clothing // I keep Maddox's UV protected swimsuit plus a swim diaper in my bag just in case we decide to go to the splashpad or play in the baby pool somewhere. If my child would wear a hat I would keep that with us too, but he refuses anything on his head.
What do you find you don't leave the house without in the Summer for your little? I have plenty of room to add more inside my Fawn bag!
Thank you Fawn Design for sponsoring this post and for you, my sweet readers, for supporting the brands that support The Modern Tulip.
