Emery's Nursery Reveal & A Giveaway

10.13.2016

This post has been a long time coming hasn't it? I teased you with it wayyyyy back in August letting you know it was finally finished and I would be sharing it soon. Now it's October and Emery is here! Oh well... better late than never right? Besides it's that much sweeter having her in a picture anyway!

And if you make it to the end of this ridiculous post with picture overload there just might be a giveaway or two for some fabulous product :)

I am so in love with her room turned out. I used to walk past her nursery after putting Maddox down for his nap, peak in the door and pause... imagining her. Now I'm holding her in there and smooching her sweet face. Such a blessing!

If you remember back to my nursery moodboard you'll see that I really came close to exactly what I was picturing for this room. It's a blend of all my favorite neutrals, white, blush, gray. I am not an over the top pink person and with this room dueling as our guest room I really didn't want guests to feel like they had walked into a room of pepto bismal throw up. I wanted them to feel comfortable so this is what I came up with and all I know is I would sleep in here happily :)

I am officially obsessed with Little Unicorn Official and all of their products including their crib sheets! I got this pretty one for Emmie's room and just bought Maddox this one for his room which he loves because he's currently digging dinosaurs! Of course I keep their cribs clear of any animals, bumpers, pillows, etc at such a young age. So a simple, beautiful sheet does the trick!

The entire room is really calming and feminine to me. I hope she loves it as she gets older! I've linked just about everything at the very bottom of this post, but if I missed something don't hesitate to reach out and ask!

Did you know October is SIDS awareness month? Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SIUD) still claims more than 3,500 infants each year in North America. More than half of these deaths are preventable when proper safe sleep practices are followed. To help keep all babies sleeping safely and avoid these unnecessary tragedies, HALO is dedicated to putting the health, safety and well-being of babies first. In fact over 1,400 hospitals use HALO® SleepSack® wearable blankets through the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Hospital Initiative. Through this program HALO has helped Hospitals and Birth Centers throughout North America create their own safe sleep programs, which utilize the HALO SleepSack Swaddle to demonstrate to parents and caregivers how to keep their babies sleeping safely.  To date, HALO has donated more than $4.3 million in its efforts to promote safe sleep education.

HALO has provided safe sleep tips so that you don't have to worry about a thing! And make sure to enter to win a Safe Sleep Starter Kit below! And enter to win a HALO Bassinest here.
